The School District of Jefferson is accepting applications for Summer School Teachers for the 2023 Summer School Program, located at Jefferson High School. Summer School will begin on Monday, June 19th and will run through Thursday, July 27th. There will be no classes on Tuesday, July 4th. Teacher Orientation will be held on June 15th and 16th. Our Summer School program is open to grades K-12. Terms/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4.5 hours/day from 7:45 am - 12:15 pm; Teaching four (4) 55 minute sections of existing summer school classes. Session 1: June 19th through July 7th Session 2: July 10th through July 27th (no classes on July 4th) Summer School Teacher Responsibilities: • Teach academic and/or enrichment classes to students • Establish and maintain rapport with pupils to ensure an effective learning atmosphere • Effective communication • Work in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors • Establish a safe and positive learning environment **Must hold a valid WI DPI Teaching License in any subject/area.
