The Butternut School District has an opening for a Business Education teacher. Butternut is a small district with small class sizes. We give students a lot of individual attention to meet their unique learning needs. We have a high poverty rate and high special education populations. This position requires a person who can work independently and still be able to collaborate with others. There are extracurricular opportunities for the right person. Wisconsin Certification 1250, Business Education is required (additional licenses/experience are beneficial). Will consider applicants with undergraduate business degree/MBA and experience who are willing to pursue teaching certification through any of several possible Wisconsin pathways to licensure. This position falls within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs (Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; Business and Information Technology; Family and Consumer Sciences; Health Science; Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship; and Technology and Engineering). Familiarity with Wisconsin Standards for Business and Information Technology is needed for this position. Successful applicants will be experienced and comfortable with word processing and spreadsheet use. Google applications including Google Classroom, Forms, and Slides is a plus. The position covers a variety of personal finance, business, marketing, and entrepreneurship classes for high school students as well as computer literacy, computer science, and familiarity for working with Middle School students.
