The Mineral Point Unified School District is seeking an instructional assistant to join the special education team at Mineral Point High School. This is a full-time (36 hours/week) position with benefits. An instructional assistant provides individual and small group support to students in the classroom and during guided study halls by reteaching and reinforcing lesson content, providing accommodations as required by the IEP, and communicating with special education teachers to coordinate services. Candidates applying for this position should possess patience, basic computer skills, organization skills and flexibility. The willingness to learn from and collaborate with other professionals as well as communicate in a professional and transparent manner is of utmost importance to support students and staff.
