School Psychologist ($5,000 hiring bonus) - Vacancy ID: 162101

The Verona Area School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE School Psychologist at New Century (elementary) and the Verona Area International (elementary) Schools to provide leadership and consultation to support student success in academics as well as social emotional wellness. This position requires someone who has the desire and skills to help support our work around reducing racial disproportionality and providing equitable resources for students. This position would begin as soon as possible. This posting may be used to fill additional positions throughout the district as vacancies arise. Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following: Conducting parent and student interviews and assessments/evaluations to determine eligibility under Section 504 or IDEA. Provide school psychology services to identified students. Participate in meetings as part of the school’s and district’s student services team. Participate in and lead MTSS/RtI processes and team meetings. Support school wide social-emotional learning and PBIS systems, practices, and data reviews. Teaming and planning to advance a safe school climate School Psychologist license (or ability to be licensed) required Proficient Spanish skills and ability to conduct assessments/evaluations in Spanish is preferred.
