Union Grove Union High School is seeking an IT Support Technician (part-time). This position will be responsible for meeting general technology needs of the staff and students through troubleshooting, incident and service management, user management, Chromebook management, and general technology support. This position will also support the IT Director with tasks as assigned. This position will prioritize student and staff technology needs through successful time management, organization of service desk incidents, and one-on-one interaction with students and staff members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide general technology support to staff and students
*Manage 1:1 Chromebook program. Including but not limited to; chromebook repair coordination, inventory management, chromebook deployment, Google Admin Console management.
*Maintain and install AV equipment. Including but not limited to; projectors, bulbs, audio devices, and SMART boards.
*Troubleshoot endpoint-related issues and perform root cause analysis when necessary.
*Assist the IT Director in updating and installing software
*Setup and installation of new equipment (unpacking, assembly)
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all UGHS IT storage areas
*Technology training and education for staff and students when necessary
*Other duties as assigned.
*Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
*2-year degree in a technology-related field (Preferred)
*Word processing and spreadsheet experience
*Knowledge of Chromebooks, Chromebook management, and Google Workspace administration is a plus.
*Experience with computers and computer peripherals
*Experience with service desk or help desk is preferred
