The Mosinee School District is looking for a long-term substitute School Psychologist from February through the end of the school year.
Job Goal:
Provide a comprehensive continuum of coordinated psychological and special education services for children, parents, and school staff. The utilization of such services includes improving educational achievement, enhancing self concepts, fostering competency in dealing with environmental demands and improving interpersonal relationships.
Performance Responsibilities:
As a member of the Equitable Multi-level Systems of Support (EMLSS) team, the school psychologist is an advocate for educational equity and promotes the healthy development of the whole child. A key role will be to serve as the Student Support Team (SST) leader.
You will lead initial special education evaluations, collaborate with case managers for reevaluations, conduct initial 504 evaluations, and provide direct psychological services with students.
You will collaborate closely with the district Pupil Service Department that includes two other full-time school psychologists, the special education director/part-time school psychologist, school counselors and our school social worker.
