We are currently seeking a highly dedicated, motivated, long-term guest teacher to serve the student community at Muskego Lakes Middle School for Muskego-Norway Schools. Wisconsin DPI certification to teach is preferred. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a student-centered philosophy of education and a broad repertoire of instructional strategies, differentiation/personalized learning techniques, and literacy advocacy.
Candidates must understand the developmental stages of widely divergent children and implement developmentally responsive elementary-level programming; must be skilled at pro-actively managing student behavior by fostering positive relationships based on mutual respect and by intervening as necessary to assist students toward the acquisition of self-discipline.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Candidates must demonstrate:
• Familiarity with Common Core and state standards in all relevant subject area disciplines;

• Implementing project- and problem-based learning and performance-based assessment;

• Belief in the professional responsibility for the success of every child, regardless of the difficulties the child faces.
