The Wausau School District is seeking a School Nutrition Services Production Manager to support our mission to "advance student learning, achievement, and success," by supervising and implementing the school nutrition program at Hewitt-Texas Elementary School! The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and participating in the operation of the school lunch and breakfast program in a school. They are responsible for setup, service, cleanup and meal accountability. This position qualifies for health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short term and long term disability, paid sick leave, personal leave, and retirement through the Wisconsin Retirement System. EDUCATION: * High school diploma or equivalent required. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of: • School food service programs and their functions. • Proper cleaning and sanitizing methods. • Principles of sanitation and kitchen safety. • Cooking temperatures and the safety zone. Ability to: • Follow oral and written instructions. • Give oral and written instructions. • Work effectively with others, including co-workers, students and school personnel.
