The School District of Waukesha is seeking a District Math Coach with an expertise in Secondary Mathematics. This position will collaborate with our secondary teachers, building coaches, and administrators to establish and implement our math curriculum aligned to evidence-based instructional practices. Waukesha School District is an incredible district with innovative, collaborative, and supportive staff, students, and families. The secondary Math department is eager to continue to its work around curricular revision and implementation. Primary areas of focus are as follows: 1. Support the development and implementation of a guaranteed and viable secondary Math curriculum. 2. Provide student-centered coaching cycles with teachers. 3. Provide actionable and next-step feedback to class educators that is focused on student product, achievement, and in support of overall building goals/focus points. 4. Plan and support professional development that is directly connected to the building and district goals. 5. Support teachers in cultural and behaviorally responsive practices that increase learning. 6. Support building use of data as a measurement and monitoring tool connected to student achievement.
