The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Alternative Education Teacher at Onalaska Middle School for the 2022-2023 school year only.
Position Summary
To provide instruction (academic, vocational, and affective), behavioral interventions, health, counseling and career services, and other student services activities to students at risk of not attaining the district outcome goals and of not graduating. This person will need to work in conjunction with collaborative teams in order to address the specific standards/targets in which students are not demonstrating proficiency.
Qualifications:
Possess a valid Wisconsin Teaching License for grades 6-12 Content Area (Preferred license is Alternative Education-952 or ability to obtain)
Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
Ability to work well with school board members, administrators, staff and the community.
Such qualifications as the administration may find appropriate
