Swimming Instructor Verona Area School District Aquatic Center Varied hours and schedule based on scheduled swim lessons Starting wage of $22.00 per hour Seeking well qualified Swim Instructors possessing the ability to respond to emergencies in a professional and mature manner, with a high lever of leadership and public relations skills, and appropropriate decision making skills Swim Instructor duties include but are not limited to: conducting swimming lessons as assigned, enforcing pool, locker room, lobby, and hallway rules, regulations, and safety procedures, and maintaining order around the pool and adjacent areas Desired certifications include: Lifeguard/First Aid/ CPR/AED, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Prior experience working with all age groups and experience working with students with special needs desirable Bilingual (Spanish) language skills a plus DEADLINE: Open until filled with ongoing review of applications To apply for this position, complete the WECAN online application at https://wecan.education.wisc.edu/#/ Contact Supervisor: Deb Bossingham, Director of Aquatics, Verona Area School District, 234 Wildcat Way, Verona, WI 53593 If you need assistance with transportation to/from work, YWCA's Job Ride program may be of benefit to you.
