Job Posting Close Date: open until filled Position: ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNER SPECIALIST Location: Donges Bay, Oriole Lane and Wilson Elementary Schools Starting Date: August 23, 2022 The Mequon-Thiensville School District is looking for an English Language Learning Specialist to start in the 2022-2023 school year. This position will be a full time (1.0) regular contract. Applicants must be certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction English as a Second Language licensing. The district-wide English Language Learner Specialist provides support to students through personalized and content-based instruction, within small groups and in collaboration with other teachers. This important position provides support to students in grades 4K-12 to ensure that students learning English are immersed in learning environments with the strategies and resources to ensure their growth and success. The English Language Learner Specialist demonstrates effective use of assessments, diagnostics, and intervention strategies to monitor students' growth and engage them in their learning.
