The School District of Amery is now accepting applications for a full-time employee to assist with grounds and vehicle maintenance. This person will also serve as a substitute bus driver as needed.
This is a 12-month position with 40 hours/week. Wage will be based on experience, plus benefits.
The School District of Amery is a public PK-12 district of approximately 1,500 students in four buildings on one campus. Amery is one of the highest achieving districts in Western Wisconsin. The district encompasses 190+ square miles in Polk and St. Croix Counties, approximately one hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The city of Amery is known as the "City of Lakes" and is comprised of four lakes and the Apple River.
Requirements:
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 75 pounds
• Must be able to navigate stairs and ladders
• Must demonstrate ability to use and maintain all equipment, hardware, materials and supplies needed for the position
• Must exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to work with children and the public
• Must have or obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus, passenger, and air brake endorsements
• 7.1 structural and 3.0 Turf and Landscape Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator Certification preferred
