The School District of Fort Atkinson is accepting applications for a .5 FTE Title 1 Math Interventionists beginning with the 2022-23 school year. Hours are flexible; however, services need to be consistent within student schedules    This position provides collegial coaching to support math instruction as well as delivers research-based math interventions to middle school students within a multi-level systems of support model. This allocation of duties for 2022-23 is 0.5 FTE math intervention; however, this distribution may vary by year. Intervention services will be flexibly assigned based on need per round. This position is a federally-funded, Title 1 position servicing Title 1 students at Fort Atkinson Middle School in math for the 2022-23 school year.      This position works collaboratively with classroom teachers in supporting students in need of math intervention. This position includes the expectation for collaborative planning with the classroom teacher and specialists to differentiate core instruction through a co-plan/co-serve model and providing leadership in Response to Intervention and Intervention Collaboration Meetings. Professional development and experience in providing the AVMR and/or Bridges Intervention systems preferred; however, the District is willing to provide this training as necessary to a highly qualified candidate. AVMR and/or Bridges Intervention professional learning may require time outside of the school day. This position demands a high level of precision and skill with data collection, aggregation and representation. The district is seeking a detail-oriented individual able to ensure accuracy in implementing district processes as well as data representations to monitor and measure progress toward district goals. Certification: Secondary Math Certification Highly Desirable. Elementary / Middle Certification considered with evidence of math teaching experience.
