Primary Function: The Student Intervention Paraprofessional will work to support student learning and reduce the achievement gap by delivering reading and/or math interventions to fidelity. The Paraprofessional may also be tasked with screening and progress monitoring student academic growth. This position will be paid for out of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds. Prepares programming materials for intervention groups Communicates with classroom teachers, intervention teacher, and eMLSS Coordinator as needed. Other duties as assigned by building and district administration Work Environment Normal school environment and moderate noise levels Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and work at desk/computer for extended periods of time Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment Must be able to talk, hear, grasp, and reach
