The Kewaunee School District is seeking to fill a special education middle school ID vacancy. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our PK-12 special education department for the 2022-23 school year. The ideal candidates will have a passion for educating and assisting students that fall under the following categories of special education: traumatic brain injury, E BD, ID, OHI, autism and learning disabilities. Candidates should be willing to co-teach, be organized, flexible and creative, have strong communication skills, and be able to meet the diverse needs of all learners. This special education teacher will collaborate with district personnel towards the continuous improvement of student achievement. The qualified candidate will be able to use data to design instruction for whole group, small group, and individual students. Additionally, applicants must be able to consult with parents, staff and community service providers, be proficient at IEP development and implementation. Cross-Categorical Special Education or Intellectual Disabilities licensure desired.
