Salem School is looking for a second school psychologist, bringing our school psychologist to student ratio to 1:500. Responsibilities will include leadership in the multi-leveled system of supports process and interventions; problem-solving and consultation with instructional staff; comprehensive evaluations for students with disabilities; participation in and facilitation of school based intervention, data team, and IEP meetings; and serves as a member of the school-based mental health support team. The school psychologist role is integral in utilizing data for decision-making on a student-by-student basis as well as collaborating to design effective student supports system-wide. Salem School has approximately 1,000 students ages Early Childhood-8th grades.
Licensure and Responsibilities:
School Psychologist license requires a master's degree, specialist degree, or equivalent.
Valid Wisconsin certificate (or the ability to apply for one) in the subject area of employment (School Psychologist).
Full time position supporting Early Childhood-8th grades.
Reports to the Director of Student Services.

Collaborates with families, organizations, agencies, and others to develop and achieve shared goals.
Educates colleagues on legal, ethical, and professional standards (confidentiality, eligibility, records).
Designs, implements, and evaluates the implementation, integrity, fidelity, and effectiveness of intervention in academic and social emotional learning at the individual, group, and system level.
Provides leadership in collecting data to identify service gaps in meeting the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, or developmental needs of children.
Leads teams in functional behavioral analysis and behavior intervention plan process.
Leads teams in 504 planning for students.
Other duties as assigned.
