The Whitewater Unified School District has a position available for a 1.0 math and reading intervention teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. The successful candidate will possess strong background, knowledge, and skills by demonstrating the following:
- Deliver high quality instruction in reading and math
- Initiates leadership for planning, development, implementation and monitoring intervention instruction
- Assists teachers with the implementation of elementary curriculum and intervention resources.
- Assists teachers, instructional teams and principals in the analysis of intervention data to monitor student learning.
- Maintains knowledge of national and district standards and frameworks for literacy and mathematics.
- Have the ability to deliver intervention in the classroom and in independent small group settings
- Contribute to the positive school culture
- Effectively communicate with students, parents and staff

Hold, or be eligible to obtain, appropriate DPI license as an interventionist:
- 1316 Reading, 1317 Reading Specialist, 1088/1777 Elementary Education
- Ability and interest in coaching and other extracurricular positions are valued
- Ability to work with diverse populations
