The Whitewater Unified School District has a position available for a 1.0 math and reading intervention teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. The successful candidate will possess strong background, knowledge, and skills by demonstrating the following: - Deliver high quality instruction in reading and math - Initiates leadership for planning, development, implementation and monitoring intervention instruction - Assists teachers with the implementation of elementary curriculum and intervention resources. - Assists teachers, instructional teams and principals in the analysis of intervention data to monitor student learning. - Maintains knowledge of national and district standards and frameworks for literacy and mathematics. - Have the ability to deliver intervention in the classroom and in independent small group settings - Contribute to the positive school culture - Effectively communicate with students, parents and staff Lincoln Elementary School in Whitewater, WI, services 390 students in 4K-5th grade.
