The Shawano Community School District is seeking an Assistant Pool Manager. A job summary is provided below. JOB SUMMARY: Ensure the district pool facility is properly maintained and meets WI State code. Coordinate pool staff and oversee enforcement of all safety procedures, district policies and pool guidelines. Monitor facility calendar , in cooperation with the Pool Manager, for self and staff scheduling purposes to provide appropriate coverage for district, public and other schools’ activities and events. Ensure coaches’, physical education teachers’, lifeguards’ and patrons’ needs are met regarding the district pool facility.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. 2 or more years of experience in aquatics 3. Must have excellent communication skills and a patient demeanor when dealing with the public 4. Active or ability to renew following certifications: a. Lifeguard Certification b. CPR c. First Aid
