The Green Bay Area Public Schools is seeking applicants to work under the direct supervision of a licensed school psychologist or district representative whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coordinating and scheduling IEP meetings, rostering students, scoring tests, review evaluation team IEP paperwork for compliance measures, and other duties as assigned. This position can work up to 24 hours per week with the times to be determined. Your scheduled days of the week, and hours, are subject to change based upon the educational staffing and safety needs of the District. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to): Follows the Core Values of the Green Bay Area Public School District as driver of our words and actions: Excellence, Engagement, Equity, Integrity, and Responsibility. 1. Attends continuing education and in-services/staff development related to special education within the district. 2. Coordinates and schedules IEP meetings (sending invitations). 3. Collects and scores rating scales. 4. Completes on- and off-task behavior observations. 5. Rosters students into FastBridge. 6. Completes peer comparisons. 7. Collects test kits at the end of year (testing library). 8. Reviews evaluation team IEP paperwork for compliance measures, and other duties as assigned. 9. Maintains and submits accurate and timely records/reports as required by law, Board policy, and administrative guidelines. 10. Follows building and district rules, procedures, and policies. 11. Assists in building/district responsibilities as directed by the supervisor. 12. Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor Working Conditions: 1. Work involves disruptions of daily schedule. 2. Work involves frequent deadlines under pressure. 3. Work requires flexibility in adjusting to continuously changing situations. 4. Work entails a flexible daily schedule. 5. Work involves a high level of decision making and the ability to keep information confidential. 6. Work involves travel in the district. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED • Education: *Have at least two years of post-secondary education that is equivalent to at least 48 semester hours from an accredited higher education institution, OR *Have obtained an associate (or higher) degree, OR *Have met a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (or, as appropriate, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness). •License: *Special Education Program Aide License (883), OR *Any valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (WDPI) license. QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: Education: Currently enrolled in a Human Development /Psychology program with 60 credits and a GPA over 3.4, or enrolled in a graduate school Psychology program with an undergraduate GPA of 3.4 or higher. Experience, Skills and Abilities: Successful experience related to use of Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar. Experience that demonstrates the ability to learn new computer programs quickly, attend to detail, and maintain a high level of organization and confidentiality. Ability to meet timelines and prioritize tasks.
