The Elcho School District is seeking a part-time music teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates should posses a license to teacher general elementary music or other music licenses. The position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with a wide age range of students, promoting music appreciation, leading concert performances, and helping our district's outstanding music programs continue to thrive. The position provides an excellent opportunity to provide music instruction and performance in a highly supportive community. Candidates with licensure in other content areas may be offered a full time position. Ideal candidates will possess the following: - Strong content knowledge and organizational skills. - Ability to use various assessment data to inform instruction. - Ability to utilize numerous forms of technology and district resources to enhance classroom learning. - Strong and consistent classroom management skills. - Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents and the community that foster a positive climate in the school. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Willingness to be a part of the school beyond the classroom.
