QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be Wisconsin DPI certified in Special Education Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (EBD) and/or Cross Categorical (CC), Learning Disabilities (LD), Intellectual Disabilities – (ID), early childhood to adolescence.
2. Knowledge and experience working with ID, LD, and EBD students.
3. Must be able to show previous students' successes.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with various behavioral and learning styles, relate to a wide variety of individuals, possess a good concept of inclusion, and a focus on the future academic, social, and emotional needs of EBD, LD, and ID students. Must be knowledgeable in the IEP process along with Functional Behavioral Assessments and the development of Behavior Intervention Plans. Must be able to work as a team player with teachers, support staff, administration, parents, and community agencies. Excellent communication skills are essential. Knowledge and experience in working toward the inclusion of Special Education students in regular classrooms providing the needed levels of support. Ability to work with and co-teach with other staff to create the best possible learning environment. Trained or willing to be trained and able to serve on the CPI non-violent crisis intervention team. Experience or willingness to gain experience supporting students learning in an online environment
