Long-term Sub Teacher - Ag/FFA - Vacancy ID: 140038

Position: Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Agriculture/FFA (Grades 7-12) beginning September 1, 2022 for 12 weeks. Duties: Instruct and supervise high school students in Agriculture classes, including Dairy Science, Aquaponics, Vet Science, Horticulture with management of school greenhouse and Aquaponics system, and introductory middle school classes, as well as fill in as needed for the FFA Advisor. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Current Wisconsin DPI licensure #1200-Agriculture Education for grades 7-12. 2. Passionate about Ag education, high level of enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to work cooperatively with others. 3. Successful teaching or practicum experience in high school/middle school grades. 4. Such alternatives to the above that the district may find acceptable. 5. Favorable background check. Wage: $125 per day for days 1 through 15; after 15 consecutive days in the same teaching assignment, $180 per day to compensate for additional lesson planning, meetings, and other extended hour activities.
