Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School is accepting applications for a dynamic educator to serve students with Reading and Literacy needs in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Commitment to teaching the whole child (academics and social emotional learning). Ability to embed differentiation in Reading support and intervention to meet the needs of a wide range of students. Commitment to collaboration and reflection within a school community dedicated to continuous improvement. Ability to adjust instruction based on formative and summative assessment data. Ability to communicate effectively to form partnerships with families and students and staff. Ability to reflect on practice. Eligibility to hold a Wisconsin reading teacher license A master’s degree with a major emphasis in reading (preferred) Teacher creativity is valued. The successful candidate will be team-oriented, flexible, and possess a growth mindset in pursuit of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
