The Wauwatosa School District Buildings and Grounds Department seeks temporary, seasonal, Operation Relief Worker Aides for the summer of 2022. Estimated Start Date: May 30, 2022 Hours & Rate: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm / $12.72 hourly Please Note: This is a multiple position posting. Hours and start dates may vary. Performance Responsibilities: - Employee is employed to perform varied grounds keeping assignments. - Position is subject to frequent changes in worksite locations. - Duties include, but are not limited to: * Performs grounds keeping tasks, such as grass cutting, watering, tree and shrub maintenance, debris removal, aeration, weed spraying, and other related tasks to maintain the District's grounds in a safe and attractive condition. * Maintains athletic fields. * Moves and stores furniture, supplies, and equipment. * Performs general cleaning tasks as assigned. * Performs other related work as assigned.
- Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver license. - Ability to drive and operate light trucks and semi-heavy equipment. - Ability to read directions required for work performance. - Strength and physical stamina necessary to perform heavy manual tasks. - Projection of an appropriate public service image.
