The Board of Education of the Randolph School District is seeking an enthusiastic and caring professional to provide instructional support services to students with disabilities at the middle school level, grades 6-9. A successful candidate must be able to successfully teach students by creating/implementing a specially designed curriculum in a resource setting, developing/executing behavior intervention plans, collaboratively planning with classroom teachers, and monitoring progress toward IEP goals. Responsibilities: 1. Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction special education certification to include middle school age students. Licenses 1801, 1811, or 1830. 2. Ability to collaborate with parents, teachers, and community members in order to help students meet individual goals. 3. Understanding and knowledge of instructional strategies to support students in both the resource setting and in the regular education classroom. 4. Must be willing to team teach and/or act as a resource to regular education teachers. 5. Must have a strong desire to work in a collaborative, team environment. 6. Willingness to incorporate interventions/ accommodations in classroom activities. 7. Excellent oral and written skills. 8. Strong communication skills to motivate student engagement. 9. Experience with developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans. 10. Experience developing, writing and implementing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans. 11. Highly developed interpersonal skills. 12. Excellent classroom management skills. Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to: work collaboratively utilize Google Suite, SEEDS database, and Skyward maintain confidentiality communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, and community Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and conflict management Candidate Requirements Years of Experience: 0 Degree: Bachelor Licenses: Cross-Categorical Special Education Emotional Behavioral Disorders Learning Disabilities
