ABOUT CESA #1: Winner of the Top Workplaces Award for four consecutive years, Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) #1 is all about students. CESAs were started over 50 years ago to partner with local school districts to provide high-quality educational and therapy services for students. Wisconsin is divided into 12 CESAs, with CESA #1 comprising six counties in southeastern Wisconsin. CESA #1 is home to 30,000 educators and more than 300,000 students. We are a critical partner to schools, providing reliable, just-in-time support. We offer over 100 kinds of services, including consultation, workshops, and staffing for districts. We are proud of our strong history supporting schools and students. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide in person classroom instruction starting 04/25/2022 through 6/10/2022. Candidates can be certified special education teachers or general education long term substitutes. QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid DPI license - Experience working with students - Strong listening skills - Ability to build relationships - Experience managing and supporting student behavior - Disposition for teamwork and collaborative thinking - Experience planning individualized curriculum, instruction, and assessment REPORTS TO: Assistant Director WHY WORK FOR CESA #1?
