The Lake Mills Area School District is looking for a 5-8th grade art teacher. Highly qualified individuals have a strong knowledge of Wisconsin Standards for Art & Design, have a vision for how to incorporate technology and engineering skills throughout the curriculum, as well as have the ability to create and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences for middle school students. Additionally, a successful candidate has a passion for middle school students and understands the unique developmental needs of this age group. The District also offers many sports coaching opportunities, including Baseball and Soccer for the current year. The District serves 1,682 students from the City of Lake Mills and the surrounding area in three schools: Lake Mills Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. LMASD is the highest achieving school district in Jefferson County Wisconsin, has strong academic curricular programs at all levels, as well as excellent music, athletic, drama, and extracurricular programs. The Lake Mills community is supportive and involved with the schools.
