Candidate must: -Have prior experience working with groups of young children. -Be willing to collaborate with all school staff in a positive and professional manner. -Have a strong work ethic and a desire to continuously improve. -Be willing to learn new things and engage in continuous professional growth. -Love students with varying disabilities and special needs while accepting and nurturing varying personalities and cultures. Job responsibilities involve: -assisting classroom/special education teacher(s) with small group instruction and assessment tasks -conducting small group learning opportunities -assisting with behavior needs -materials preparation -assisting students at meal times -bathrooming and diapering of students -other duties as assigned Additional training with reading, math, student management, CPR/health issues, and technology would be preferred.
