Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) #12 is seeking an energetic individual for the position of School Psychologist. The agency is seeking an educational leader who is ready to serve a diverse, rural northern Wisconsin learning community. The candidate of choice will have demonstrated expertise in special education and pupil services policies and procedures, exceptional diagnostic and evaluation skills, knowledge of implementation of equitable multi-level systems of support, and strong communication skills with students, staff, parents, and community. CESA #12 provides cooperative services to 17 school districts across the northwestern corner of Wisconsin, impacting approximately 14,000 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade The CESA #12 office is located in Ashland, WI, on the shores of the Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior. The area provides a wealth of opportunities for outdoor recreational activities in a beautiful setting. A successful candidate should have knowledge of special education program requirements (Federal, State and Local) and age appropriate evidence-based instructional methods; experience or training in assessing and monitoring student progress, developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans, conducting functional behavioral assessments, and facilitating IEP and student assistance team meetings; and recommending and evaluating interventions, and reporting on evaluation results and student progress.Applicants must hold or be eligible for Wisconsin School Psychologist licensure (762) or be near the completion of a qualified certification program. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is preferred. Ability to travel to districts throughout the CESA 12 region is a must.
