Summary: The purpose of the Director of Instruction position is to provide supervision, support, and program leadership for our Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment programs, and related services for students and to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations; supervise instructional and related services staff assigned to evaluation teams and specialized programs; provide leadership as assigned to district programs and services; collaborate with district office leaders, building administration, and site-level staff/departments. Education/Experience Required: Current valid Wisconsin Director of Instruction Administrative License (or in-process) A minimum of a graduate degree or license certification in Pupil Services or a related area Valid Wisconsin driver's license Preferred five years or more of successful teaching and/or building leadership experience Preferred three or more years of experience as a principal or district-level director Preferred two or more years of principal, district administrative, or supervisory experience in instruction; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
