Are you looking for a variety to your workday? If your answer is yes, this is a position for you.
We are looking for team players to join our Food Production Center. This position will be responsible for floating out to elementary or secondary schools when necessary for coverage, of which training will be provided. Flexible times employee will need to be available are from 6:30 am - 6:15 pm, as you could be working split shifts at various locations based on the needs of the day.
When employee is not needed at a site, work times will be 7:00 am - 1:15 pm and will involve repetitive movements in a production line. The position is guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week based on a five day school week.
A valid driver's license will be necessary.
Safety and Sanitation: Maintain proper food handling, heating, cooling and storage techniques to ensure efficient operations and eliminate waste and spoilage. To comply and maintain the sanitary standards as stated in the Wisconsin Administrative Code of the Department of Health and Social Services Chapter HSS 196. Notify immediate supervisor of signs of food mishandling, spoilage or any improper food handling practice.
- Minimum of one-year experience in a multi-task food service operation preferred
- Successfully completed an approved Safety and Sanitation class within the past 5 years (or complete certification within 180 days of hire) and renew certification every 5 years
- Ability to work with people
_ Ability to follow verbal and written instruction and possess basic writing skills
- Ability to apply math skills and basic computer skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting not to exceed 50 lbs (testing required)
- Possesses good customer relation skills
- Have enthusiasm and willingness to continue learning through attending necessary staff development workshops and programs as designated
- Possess a valid driver's license
