Cooperative Educational Service Agency #12 is accepting applications for a Speech & Language Pathologist for the 2021-22 school year. Qualified applicants must identify and provide services to students who have communication disorders in the areas of understanding and expressing language (relative to vocabulary, grammatical rule structures, and functional use of language) as well as the development of sounds, appropriate voice quality and fluency. Applicants must demonstrate understanding of school-based practices and know how to support school teams in understanding the link between language and curriculum. Qualified applicants must have a Master's degree (M.A.) in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from a school accredited by the American Speech Association. Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction License #820 or the ability to obtain one; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) certificate is preferred. School based therapy experience is also preferred. This position will serve multiple school districts, so the applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle. The ability to work efficiently is a must. CESA #12 works to provide cooperative educational services that help school districts meet the needs of their local communities. Our agency serves 17 school districts from Minnesota to Michigan and south to Sawyer and Price counties. The CESA #12 office is located in Ashland, WI, on the shores of the Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior.
