The School District of Janesville is currently hiring for a Maintenance II position at Marshall Middle School.
This position is year-round, working 5:00 am - 1:30 pm (8.0 hrs per day), beginning November 17, 2025.
This position participates in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) and health insurance benefits are available with this position.
1. Ability to perform general maintenance and grounds care tasks.
2. Ability to work independently.
3. Boiler and heat system maintenance experience.
4. Knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies.
5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all district employee groups.
6. Familiar with custodial operations and basic maintenance procedures.
7. Requires knowledge and skills in electric, heating, plumbing and boiler maintenance.
8. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the District may find appropriate and acceptable.
Previous experience is preferred.
