The Clintonville Public School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for a 5th Grade Teacher, starting with the 2025-2026 school year.  The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. 

Candidates should hold, or be eligible for, appropriate DPI certification in Elementary Education. 
Experience with restorative justice practices, facilitating professional learning communities, trauma informed practices, the understanding or implementation of response to interventions (RTI) and social emotional learning (SEL) initiatives is desired.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement lesson plans.

- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse needs of students.

- Create a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.

- Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments.

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

 

Qualifications

- Valid Wisconsin teaching license in Elementary Education

- Knowledge of state academic standards

- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills

- Commitment to ongoing professional development
