World Language French Teacher at Sauk Prairie High School Position Description: Sauk Prairie High School is a comprehensive 9-12 high school offering a challenging and rigorous program of study for our students, with a 1-to-1 Chromebook platform. We are looking for a student-centered, technology-savvy, energetic educator to join our World Languages Department. Candidates with demonstrated experience in grading for learning, project leadership, integrated unit design, standards-based reporting, working with a collaborative team, and inquiry learning desired. WI DPI Certification Required: World Language - French Contract Start Date: August 29, 2023 (new teachers begin prior to contract start) District Description: The district includes Sauk City and Prairie du Sac, two “next door” villages known as Sauk Prairie. They are located on the beautiful Wisconsin River. Thirteen towns and the village of Merrimac are also in the district. The area features rolling hills, meadows, bluffs, forests, lakes and streams. The district offers small-town, rural living with easy access to the Madison urban area (25 miles) and to the Wisconsin Dells recreation area (28 miles). The district serves 2,800 students, and is comprised of six learning communities with a high school of 850 students, middle school of 600 students and four elementary schools of 1,350 students.
