Kenosha High School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum (KTEC) is a new public charter school that opened its doors to students September 6, 2022. KTEC HS is looking for strong, forward-thinking individuals to build the foundation of the school. Students at KTEC HS will earn certifications that align with competencies identified by industry. This model prepares students for post-secondary education as was as being workforce ready. Students will be empowered to develop a strong sense of character, understand how to function collectively within society and be career and future focused. The Education Support Professional supports and carries out instruction designed by general and special educators to meet the individual needs of students with or without disabilities in a calm and non-reactionary manner. The Education Support Professional is directly involved in assisting the educator to achieve student success. This may include work with students on IEP goals, monitoring and documenting student progress, and regular communication with the classroom teacher(s) and/or service providers. The Education Support Professional understands boundaries and diplomacy.
