The School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee is currently seeking an assistant principal at Central High School. This is a 12-month administrative position. The assistant principal assists the principal in the operation of the building, especially in the areas of instruction, student management (i.e., scheduling, attendance, home communication, discipline, etc.) and implementation of district initiatives within the building. Performance responsibilities include the areas of instructional leadership, personnel administration, business management, building facilities management, student personnel, community relations/communication, policy development/decision making, and curriculum, as well as other duties or tasks as assigned by the building principal. Qualifications include: 1. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university. 2. Must meet requirements for licensure from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction - have or be able to obtain a Principal 5051 license 3. Written and verbal skills needed for the position. 4. Ability to give a long term focus, development and leadership support in a curricular area. 5. Other qualifications as approved by the Board.
