The Waterford Graded School District is a special education teacher for Woodfield Elementary. We are seeking applicants with Cross-Categorical certification, emphasis in behavior management, experienced in response to the urgency of academic growth in students. The start date is August 2022. The teacher will facilitate IEP meetings, complete special education referrals, and monitor academic, behavioral and social/emotional progress of students through ongoing data collection. He/she may develop and implement FBAs or integrate assistive technology that will assist students in making progress toward their annual goals. Ability to write, implement and follow FBAs and IEPs is preferred. Experience in providing adaptive/functional curriculum, assistive technology and/or delivering direct instruction reading and math desired. Candidates must have strong communication skills and demonstrate effective work with students and collaboration with parents, school staff and administration.
