This is a full-time, year-round position as a Software and Technology Integration Coordinator for our Curriculum and Business Services Departments. POSITION SUMMARY: The Software and Technology Integration Coordinator administers and offers support for all software applications throughout the district. This position monitors and enters data for the software programs in order to provide real-time information to staff and administrators. This position is innovative in recommending and enhancing specific areas of software technology in order to create the best learning environment platforms for our teaching staff, which could include training on systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the program administrator for the District’s learning management system (LMS) and training staff on using LMS Monitor and update files for WISEdata, WISEid, WISEdash and other user accounts Assist all district personnel with full software and technology support and integration involving training and coordination of further learning Partner and collaborate with library media specialists to enhance staff technology uses and implementation. Assist the Curriculum department in administering the software behind the evaluation systems utilized in the district Assist Principals and Administrators with needed information for the software supporting the report card creation and delivery Create, maintain and update users and new hires in Google Apps, software programs and other technology related accounts Create and maintain DESSA assignments Serve as the program administrator for the computer software programs such as Xello, Aimsweb, Origo, Clever, etc. Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in IT, software engineering, computer science or related field, preferred Ability to work professionally and effectively with teachers, pupils and administrators Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Demonstrate aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities Trustworthy - maintain confidential information and strictest confidence A positive and friendly demeanor and willingness to help others A minimum of three years of IT, programming or related experience is preferred Knowledge of learning management/school systems/software is preferred
