The Frederic School District is seeking an innovative, student centered, full-time Elementary General Music and 6-12 Vocal Teacher, beginning with the 2025-26 school year. Candidates must be passionate about vocal music education, student learning, and making a positive impact with students.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

-Eagerness and commitment to build and maintain a successful comprehensive vocal music program.
-Desire and ability to create course offerings aligned to learning standards.
-Understanding the importance of music education in workforce development and college and career readiness.
-Strong technology skills that lead to the integration of all types of technology into a high functioning learning environment.
-Adapting lessons based on student needs.
-Desire and ability to work in a Professional Learning Environment.
-Strong communication skills.
-Passion for learning, growing, and exploring.

Qualifications: Vocal music teaching certification is desired, but non-certified applicants are welcome to apply. The District is prepared to assist a quality candidate in attaining a pathway to licensure. Additional teaching licenses and experiences are considered assets to applicants.

Co-curricular, coaching, and student organization leadership opportunities are available.
