Position Details
The Richland School District is committed to fostering academic excellence, social-emotional development, and inclusive practices. To further this mission, the district is seeking a dynamic, student-centered leader to serve as Principal of Richland Center Intermediate School (RCIS), which serves approximately 280 students in grades 3–6. This full-time, year-round administrative position is set to begin on July 1, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead RCIS with a vision for high-quality instruction, student engagement, and inclusive practices.

Supervise, support, and evaluate instructional and support staff.

Foster strong partnerships with families and the community.

Promote a safe, collaborative, and positive school climate.

Utilize data to drive continuous improvement and support student outcomes.

Align school initiatives with district goals and priorities.
Required Qualifications:

Valid Wisconsin Administrator license (5051 – Principal).

Successful teaching and/or leadership experience, preferably at the intermediate or elementary level.

Commitment to student-focused leadership and collaborative school culture.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience implementing MTSS and trauma-informed practices.

Familiarity with restorative practices and social-emotional learning frameworks.

Background in leading PLCs and staff professional development.

Understanding of inclusive practices and support for diverse learners.
