Full Time
The Frederic School District is seeking an innovative, student centered, full time Middle School Social Studies Teacher beginning with the 2024-25 school year.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about the content area and student learning.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
-Desire and ability to create learning opportunities aligned to learning standards.
-Understanding and skills in classroom management.
-Strong technology skills that result in a high functioning learning environment.
-Ability to teach real-world application of social emotional learning.
-Experience with RtI (Response to Intervention).
-Understanding of standards based learning.
-Ability to adapt lessons based on student needs.
-Desire and ability to work in a Professional Learning Community.
-Strong communication skills.
-Passion for learning, growing, and exploring.
Qualifications: DPI Certification is desired, but non-certified applicants are welcome to apply. The District is prepared to assist a quality candidate in attaining a pathway to licensure. Additional teaching licenses and experiences are considered assets to applicants.
Co-curricular, coaching, and student organization leadership opportunities are available.

The Frederic School District serves approximately 500 students in Northwest Wisconsin. Every classroom within the District has been remodeled to meet the needs of today's learners.
