KTEC High School is a new public charter school that opened its doors to students on September 6, 2022. KTEC HS is looking for strong, forward-thinking individuals to build the foundation of the school.

Students at KTEC HS will earn certifications that align with competencies identified by industry. This model prepares students for post-secondary education as was as being workforce ready.  Students will be empowered to develop a strong sense of character, understand how to function collectively within society and be career and future focused.

This position will be for a 9th grade physical science and 10th/11th Physics class with a focus on technical skills. Training in and incorporation of Festo’s Automation and Robotics, Electricity, and Electronics, as well as NC3’s Mechatronics and AC/DC certifications is utilized.  Summer training may be required in those certification areas if needed to be ready for instruction at the start of the school year. May have additional responsibilities as assigned by administration.

Applicants with demonstrated knowledge of competency-based assessment and curriculum development emphasizing STEM-driven project-based learning will be given preference.
